Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

      Most Esteemed Ladyship!

It is with the greatest honour and excitement that I submit this letter of acceptance. With the noblesse in the country for the summer, I presently find myself in the happy circumstance of having a little free time in which to pursue my own amusements. I am, as it were, between commissions, and after the exertions of composing and producing Le Nozze di Figaro earlier in the year, I am quite loathe to commit myself to anything more strenuous than an occasional game of boules with my friends, a glass of Pilsner in my favourite café, and answering letters. So you see, I am quite pleased with the prospect of conversing with your guests and I am honoured to remain

Your most obliged and obedient servant,

Wolfgang Amadè Mozart
