What happened to your family in the end? I watched the movie, and it didn't
really elaborate. Dearest Victoria, I wish I could tell you. I really do. But your letter reaches me here at the Conciergerie prison, in Paris. I do not know how long I have been here. Time goes by in such a slow manner... All I know, is that I have been separated for my children and my sister Élisabeth for way too long now. I assume my children are still held prisoners at the Temple. But I cannot get any news from them. The King my husband is dead now. He has been assassinated by the revolutionaries.
