What exactly was the Diamond Necklace Affair in your honest opinion? Dear Unknown, Is it usual for people from your time to not sign their letters? I like to know who I am answering. We are never too careful in this time and age and I know I am always under surveillance. But I will answer you anyway. This whole Affair was done by dishonnest people who dirtied my reputation. It is totally unacceptable behavior from everyone who were involved. Some of these people didn’t get my they deserved. I still don’t understand how someone can actually believe all this story. And sadly, some do, to this day. I’ve never done anything that would link me in any way to this kind of reputation. And I am the Queen, am I not? Marie-Antoinette |
