Things for the colony

    Your Majesty,
You were instrumental in bringing such cultural developments to France as mirrors, umbrellas, street lights, cafes, hairdressers and designer shoes. What, if any, importance do you see of these things for the colonies? Are they crucial for an outpost, or rather, are they a series of luxuries more suited to the continent?

Sincerely,

Tamar Alexia Fleishman, USA
