| Why did you have to open your big fat mouth in Montreal in the summer of 1967 ? Were you trying to hide the fact that your country was about to send you packing in for good. You could not get even with the Yanks and the Brits so I guess you took your frustrations out on the Canadians. What would you have done if during your reign, a foreign statesman had gone to Brittany or Corsica and said " Vive la Bretagne (Corse) libre"? At least Mr. Pearson had the right answer for you . The only way I' ll ever remember you is as a loser in the spring of 1940 deserting a sinking ship as one of its captains, only interested in saving your own skin. An apology is overdue. | ||||
