      September, 9th 17…

Miss Evita,

My dear traveling companion, Captain Robert Walton, gave me your letter a few minutes ago. I’m replying immediately. I’d be thrilled to exchange letters with anyone of your time willing to talk to me.

We are currently sailing straight north towards the Actic Ocean. I don’t leave my cabin anymore. I’m just not strong enough. I’ve done many things in my life, too many things sometimes… I dislike having to shut myself here but I don’t have a choice. However, I can still think as I’ve always done. Therefore, I’d be so glad to share my experiences. I definitely need some time out. Walton and the crew are charming and spend a lot of time with me but I don’t want to be a burden. What’s more, I still have many things to share. Indeed, my task is not completed…

I’m looking forward to answer anyone willing to send me messages. I’m ready to tell my story again, go back in time to make everyone understand what I’m aware of now… Science rhymes with conscience…

Yours sincerely,

Victor Frankenstein
